What Is the UPG Sustainability Leadership Program?
The United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leadership Program is more than just a course it’s a global movement designed to empower individuals who are passionate about sustainability. UPG encourages ordinary citizens, at all levels, to become sustainability leaders by taking meaningful actions in their communities. With a focus on both environmental and social sustainability, the program provides an opportunity for you to become part of a network of changemakers committed to solving the world’s most pressing challenges.

Program Structure and Benefits
The UPG Sustainability Leadership Program offers two unique experiences:
- For All Participants (500 Spots Available):
- Comprehensive Online Training: Participants will undergo a thorough online curriculum, covering sustainability leadership, community impact tools, and global networking opportunities.
- Global Networking: You will join a global community of changemakers and engage in virtual learning sessions, gaining access to valuable insights and collaboration opportunities.
- Certification: Upon completing the training, you will receive a UPG Sustainability Leader certification, recognizing your dedication and skills.
- For Selected Participants (USA Immersive Experience):
- Fully Funded USA Experience: A select group of participants will be chosen for an immersive, week-long experience in the United States. The program will cover all costs, including travel, accommodation, meals, and local transportation.
- Hands-On Learning: Selected participants will engage in practical learning, visit sustainability projects, and interact with sustainability leaders from around the world.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to young people aged 18-35 from all over the world. UPG seeks applicants who are motivated to become leaders in sustainability and are eager to create positive change in their communities. Whether you’re an activist, student, professional, or social entrepreneur, UPG believes that passion and commitment matter more than formal qualifications or experience.
You don’t need a background in environmental science or sustainability to apply—what matters most is your enthusiasm, ideas, and willingness to learn and act.
